  • EMILIANO-CARDENAS

Emiliano Cárdenas is a clown since the day he was born and so far, no scientist has been able to explain how he came to this world with a little red nose and a manual for building ladders. He is fond of sunrises and scents, particularly those that remind him his childhood. After having finished his studies at the INBA’s Academia de la Danza Mexicana, and toured around the country with different companies, Emiliano discovered in the art of clowning the best way to get in touch with the most demanding audience in the world: kids. When he remembers his childhood, he recalls himself as a shy boy who used to enjoy racing with a train moving ahead at full steam. Nowadays he is a choreographer, founder and current director of Triciclo Rojo. He was born in Acapulco, Mexico, in 1980.

“Triciclo Rojo ha sido una búsqueda compartida para construir un diálogo poético y filosófico con los niños.”
  • NATALIA-CARDENAS

Natalia Cárdenas was the name this ex biologist –currently a dancer–used until the miraculous day a three year old boy revealed to her what would be her real name: Chocolate.
She studied at the CENART-INBA’s Escuela Nacional de Danza Clásica y Contemporánea, and simultaneously, she studied Biology at the UNAM looking to specialize in the life of panthers. As a first attempt of independence, at the age of three she went down the staircase of her house in a tricycle; she accomplished getting down, though not on the tricycle. She is a choreographer, an interpreter and founder of Triciclo Rojo. She was born in Mexico City in 1981.

“I’m really passionate about finding potential and magic in the simplest things.”
  • PILAR-CAMPO

Pilar Campo studied Communication at the Universidad Intercontinental, where she improved upon the art of sleeping everywhere, an art she practiced during her adolescence. In 2009 she moved her place of slumber to the Swiss company Sunil Theatre, directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, in order to collaborate in the play Donka. She is well known for been the author of the ‘Pili Style’, a dance step in which the only thing you need to do is to be carried away by the effervescence of the moment you meet someone you love. She is founder and producer of Triciclo Rojo. She was born in Mexico City in 1980.

“Sometimes I throw an idea to the universe and bang! It materializes.”
  • ELIZABETH-ANDA

Elizabeth De Anda is a baby clown that one day found inside her an imperative need to express herself with her body, which drove her to study at the INBA’s Academia de la Danza Mexicana, and shortly after at the Ollin Yoliztli’s Escuela Nueva Danza. She is such an eclectic woman that one day she could be teaching pole dance classes and the next day learning how to play the harp. When we asked her about her childhood, she laughed and remembered the day she ran over one of her cousins to win her first Big Tricyclism Race. She is an interpreter and trainer of Ticiclo Rojo. She was born in Mexico City in 1982.

“Magic does exist and it can emerge from anything you have within reach.”
  • GLORIA-MIANURO

Gloria Minauro studied Graphic Communication at the UNAM’s Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas. Everything started the day she found her father’s old camera. Her love for the art of dancing led her to become a culture and art photographer, with a strong tendency for scenic portrait. There is a pair of Cleto Reyes’ boxing gloves among the most cherished treasures of her childhood, with which she landed her first punches in life. Besides dreaming on stop motion, she also has astral projections, where she leaves her body to float around the world. She is a photographer, a light and a production assistant in Triciclo Rojo. She was born in Mexico City in 1974.

“My dreams are as if they were photographs and sometimes I stop and think how I could shoot a light.”
  • OSCAR-GUERRERO

Óscar Guerreo, , a.k.a Poski, studied Communication at the UNAM, and then specialized in Audiovisual Production. Among his many technique abilities, he is incredibly capable of finding the bright side of everything. For example, the day he was mugged and lost his shoes by hands of the muggers, he thanked them for not trying to steal his pants. His favorite place is behind a video camera, a microphone and any process that allows him to create images and sensations. He is the production assistant of Triciclo Rojo, a project in which he has got the chance to work at huge enclosures such as the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico. He was born in Mexico City in 1983.

“An object placed in a specific spot of the stage can trigger actions that cause big emotions at the same time.”
